We have also been teaching the students about tourist attractions in London. We showed them various pictures of attractions of the following:
football stadiums - they were able to recognise many of them
London Eye
Big Ben
Buckingham Palace
Madame Tussaud's
Public Transport
Different types of food
We then gave them an exercise in pairs where they had £100 to spend on a day out in London so had to pick and choose what they wanted to do. Many of them were surprised out how expensive the premier league football matches are!
